Claim report process

What will you need to report a claim?

  • Insurance policy / travel agreement number
  • or Insurance policy / travel agreement (scan or photo)
  • Medical report with a valid diagnosis and onset day / other document proving the occurrence of the damage - e. g. death certificate / police report about the property damage / confirmation from the emloyer / divorce petition / confirmation of the remedial examination (scan or photo)
  • For COVID-19 disease and personal preventive quarantine: Medical certificate, or confirmation from school on the quarantine (students), or test result copy. In the case of a test result copy, also a screenshot of the SMS confirmation, or the ÚZIS registry copy (employees and self-employed persons), or a copy of the Regional Hygiene Station's decision on the quarantine.
  • Cancellation invoice and the receipt of the service payment (scan or photo)
  • Bank account number for the insurance benefit

Keep the originals of all documents for at least 6 months in case we would like to verify the copies. If you will not be able to provide them on request, we are entitled to ask you to give us the insurance benefit back. Electronic documents can be uploaded in PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, TIFF formats with each document being limited to 10 MB.

Tip: For health related trip cancellation reasons, a medical report with a valid dignosis is mandatory. It is not possible to raise a claim without the report.
